FSV Frankfurt - Traditional Club and Pioneer in Digitalization
As one of only seven fourth division clubs in Germany, FSV Frankfurt runs a youth academy (NLZ) certified by the DFB. The certification of the DFB ensures high standards in the areas of infrastructure, personnel and coaching. The youth players at FSV Frankfurt not only receive football training, but also receive educational and psychological support and are thus looked after holistically.
An important aspect in the development processes of the players are the parents and relatives of the talents. The club wants to involve them in the process and convince them of the enthusiasm, passion, work, prospects and family atmosphere at FSV Frankfurt.
The NLZ of FSV Frankfurt sees itself as a link between youth and the first team with the aim of integrating as many homegrown players as possible from their own NLZ into the fourth division team or preparing the players as best as possible for a professional career.
In order to create a planning framework for all teams and to further develop the NLZ, FSV Frankfurt continues to invest in its digital infrastructure and thus positions itself as a modern and innovative traditional club. A day at the NLZ of FSV Frankfurt is long andvaried. The day starts with a quick overview of all teams and ends in theevening with talks with players and parents. During the day, the focus is ontraining and player development. The features of coachbetter play an importantrole in all phases:
Communication
The development of all teams in the NLZ and of the individual playerscan be traced through the team administration, simply and transparently in allareas. Performance data, match data, training data, player data, medicalrecords for the medical department can be implemented and agreed together. Noinformation is lost and the philosophy can be spread throughout the club.
Training planning
The coaches can choose from more than 400 exercises and adapt theirtraining individually to the performance level of their team. Exercises comemainly from the areas of technique, tactics and fitness. coachbetter alsooffers training packages for all age groups with different focuses in order toprepare and carry out optimal training even under time pressure. Of course, youcan also create your own exercises in order to create an exercise database inthe sense of FSV Frankfurt.
Player profiles
The individual player profile, to which every player (or parent) hasaccess via the coachbetter app, enables an efficient feedback culture andinvolves parents and relatives in the development of the players, as desired bythe FSV. The app and their own profile make the little ones feel like their idols.The possibility of using the app to communicate e.g. attendance and absencealso makes planning easier for the coach.
Video Analysis
Visualization makes it much easier for players to understand what theycannot see themselves. Videos can be uploaded, edited and tagged directly inthe platform. Individual sequences of a game or training can then be analyzedand shared directly with the player's individual profile in the coachbetterapp.
