BFV and coachbetter digitize coaching in Bavaria
In July of the previous year, coachbetter was introduced as the BFV's new cooperation partner to support the association's digital journey. Fast forward to today, and this collaboration has grown stronger. Coachbetter is now an integral part of the statewide coaching education, aiming to fundamentally improve the exchange between performance and development squads. The goal is to streamline internal communication channels and make the development of individual players more transparent.
Integration with DFB Coaching License:
The BFV expects its coaches to be receptive to the digital changes in football. To support this transformation across all levels, coachbetter's 360-degree platform will be made available to all BFV coaches, from the DFB basic coach to the UEFA B-license, free of charge.
One of the significant advantages is that participants will have continuous access to their learned knowledge even after completing their courses. They will also receive a digital tool to simplify their daily coaching tasks, such as training planning and maintaining training diaries.
Focus on Grassroots and Broad-based Sports: Shaping the Digital Future Together
According to a recent survey, 88% of all coaches still rely on pen and paper or Microsoft Office solutions due to a lack of alternatives. This often results in a cluttered mess of papers, and over time, crucial information gets lost. The BFV aims to change this narrative.
The shared objective of this collaboration is clear: enhance the quality of education and reduce the planning and organizational efforts of daily coaching, allowing more time to live football on the field and promote players.
Exclusive Offers for BFV Members:
As part of the partnership, coachbetter offers exclusive deals for BFV clubs and coaches. This initiative aims to provide everyone the opportunity to integrate digital work into their daily routines quickly, easily, and cost-effectively. Additionally, there are excellent nationwide funding programs for clubs, and coachbetter is eager to assist in obtaining such support. What value coachbetter adds as part of a federation solution
With features ranging from training planning and design, matchday and team management, a dedicated app for players, video analyses, and further training opportunities, coachbetter offers a comprehensive suite of tools. The coachbetter team is committed to assisting the BFV in deploying and developing the platform according to their needs.
Training planning
The coaches can choose from hundreds of exercises and adapt their practice individually to the performance level of their team. Exercises come mainly from the areas of technique, tactics and fitness. Coachbetter also offers training packages for all age groups with different focuses in order to provide optimal training even under time pressure.
Team Management
The team management allows the development of all 18 teams and the individual players to be tracked, easily and transparently. No data is lost, even if the coach changes.
Player profiles
In individual player profiles, each player can be created in the squad in coachbetter. In the respective profiles, the development of the players can be transparently tracked. Each player (or parent) has access to his or her profile via the coachbetter app; this enables an efficient feedback culture and good training preparation. In addition, the app offers the possibility to communicate attendance and absences.
Video analysis
Through this feature, individual sequences of a match or training can be analyzed and shared directly with the player via his/her profile. This way, no beautiful goal is lost anymore.
Communication
Through coachbetter, all coaches and managers are connected and can exchange information on sporting and administrative topics of all teams. This means that the planned training can be shared with the responsible persons and players in advance via the platform and player app.
