Terms & Conditions

By registering for the Manchester City Youth Coaching Experience, you agree to the following terms:

‍1. Your booking

• The Manchester City Youth Coaching Experience takes place on 24 and 25 November 2026 at the City Football Academy, Manchester.
• The Experience is sold by Coach Better AG (Coachbetter). The coach education, the venue, the tours and the match tickets are provided by Manchester City Football Club under an arrangement with Coachbetter. Your contract is with Coachbetter.
• Your place is confirmed only when you receive a booking confirmation by email.
• Places are limited to 40 and are allocated first come, first served.
• Attendees must be 18 or over on the first day of the Experience.
• You must give accurate attendee details at registration. These are used for venue access, match tickets and certification, and incorrect details may prevent entry.

2. Payment

• The fee is £599 per coach, payable in full at the point of booking. There is no deposit and no payment plan.
• The group rate is five places for £2,500, capped at five places per club. Any places beyond five are £599 each.
• All prices are in pounds sterling and inclusive of VAT.
• Any currency conversion or international transaction charges applied by your bank are yours to pay.

3. What is included, and what is not

Your fee includes:

• Two days of coach education at the City Football Academy
• All theory and practical sessions on the published agenda
• A tour of the Etihad Stadium and a tour of the City Football Academy
• A ticket to the UEFA Youth League fixture on 24 November
• A ticket to Manchester City v Napoli, UEFA Champions League, on the evening of 24 November
• Lunch on both days
• Food and drink vouchers to the value of [[£VALUE]] for use at the Etihad Stadium on the evening of the match
• A certificate of completion awarded by Manchester City
• Twelve months of CityCoach access and twelve months of Coachbetter App access

Your fee does not include:

• Travel to or from Manchester, or airport and ground transfers
• Accommodation. We may recommend a hotel near the venue as a convenience. Coachbetter does not book, sell or arrange accommodation, takes no commission on it, and is not a party to any booking you make with a hotel
• Dinner on 25 November, or any meal not listed above
• Travel insurance
• Visas, permits or any other travel or entry document
• Anything not listed above

4. Cancellations, transfers and refunds

• Places are non-refundable. If you cancel, or do not attend for any reason, no refund is due.
• You may transfer your place to another coach at no charge, provided you tell us in writing at least 10 days before the first day and the replacement meets the requirements in section 1.
• All cancellations and transfer requests must be submitted in writing to andrew.moffett@coachbetter.com.
• Places may be transferred to another individual. They may not be resold, offered for resale or advertised for sale, at any price.
• We strongly recommend that every attendee holds travel insurance covering cancellation, curtailment, medical costs and travel disruption. Coachbetter cannot under any circumstances contribute towards travel or accommodation costs you have committed to.

5. Changes to the programme

• The agenda, session content, speakers and contributors are indicative and may change. We will tell you about material changes as soon as we can.
• A change of speaker or session, a change to the timing or order of the agenda, or a change of room or pitch within the venue does not entitle you to a refund.
• If a change fundamentally alters the character of the Experience, you may continue with your booking, transfer to a future cohort if one is offered, or cancel for a full refund.

6. The Champions League fixture

• Kick-off times, dates and venues for Champions League matches are set by UEFA and by broadcasters, and may change at short notice. Neither Coachbetter nor Manchester City controls them.
• If the match is rescheduled to a date or time you cannot reasonably attend, is moved away from the Etihad Stadium, is played behind closed doors, or is cancelled, the two days of coach education will run as planned and you may choose either a refund of [[£AMOUNT]], representing the match element of the fee, or a transfer of your place to a future cohort if one is offered, subject to availability and any difference in price.
• You must tell us which you are choosing within [[NUMBER]] days of us notifying you. If you do not, we will issue the refund.
• This is your only remedy in relation to a change to the match. Coachbetter is not liable for travel or accommodation costs you have incurred.
• If the match goes ahead but you cannot attend for a personal reason, no refund is due.

7. If we cancel

• The Experience runs subject to a minimum of 16 attendees. Coachbetter reserves the right to cancel, and will inform all attendees no later than 10 before the first day.
• If we cancel, you will receive a full refund of the fee you paid.
• Coachbetter cannot under any circumstances contribute towards travel or accommodation costs an attendee has committed to, and our liability is limited to the refund of the fee.
• We are not responsible for any failure caused by events outside our reasonable control, including strikes, civil unrest, terrorism, epidemic or pandemic, government or public health restrictions, extreme weather, failure of transport networks, stadium or training ground closure, or any decision of UEFA, the Premier League, the Football Association or a public authority.

8. At the venue

• You must follow all instructions from Manchester City staff and stewards, and comply with Manchester City's ground regulations at both the City Football Academy and the Etihad Stadium. Those regulations are available here. 
• The City Football Academy is a working training facility where children and young people are present. You must not approach, photograph, film or attempt to contact any academy player, must stay within the areas you are directed to, and must follow any safeguarding instruction given to you.
• You must conduct yourself professionally and respectfully towards other attendees, staff, coaches and players. We may remove you from the Experience without refund for behaviour that is abusive, discriminatory, threatening, unsafe or seriously disruptive.
• Access to specific areas may be restricted on the day for operational, security or safeguarding reasons. This does not entitle you to a refund.
• Parts of the Experience take place outdoors. You are responsible for assessing your own fitness to take part and for bringing suitable clothing and footwear. Tell us at registration about anything we need to know in order to make reasonable adjustments or keep you safe.

9. Match tickets

• Match tickets are issued subject to Manchester City's ticket terms and ground regulations, which apply to you in addition to these terms.
• Match tickets must not be resold, transferred for profit, offered for sale, advertised, or used for any commercial purpose. Unauthorised resale of a football match ticket may be a criminal offence. 
• A ticket transferred in breach of this section may be cancelled without refund, and we may cancel the associated place.
• Seat location and any hospitality element are at Manchester City's discretion and are not guaranteed.

10. Filming and photography

• Coachbetter and Manchester City will photograph and film the Experience, including sessions, tours and attendees, for marketing, promotional and educational purposes and for future coach education products.
• By attending, you agree that Coachbetter and Manchester City may record your image, voice and contributions, and may use, edit and publish that material worldwide in any medium, without payment to you and without a time limit.
• If you do not wish to appear in recorded material, tell us in writing before the Experience begins and we will take reasonable steps to accommodate that. We cannot guarantee you will not appear incidentally in wide shots.
• You must not film, record, live-stream or broadcast any part of the Experience without our written permission, and must not publish any material identifying an academy player.

11. Course materials, certification and digital access

• All course materials, presentations, session plans and frameworks belong to Manchester City or Coachbetter, or are used under licence. You may use them in your own coaching and within your own club. You may not sell or publish them, use them to deliver paid coach education to others, or present them as your own.
• Attendees who complete both days receive a certificate of completion awarded by Manchester City. It is a record of attendance and completion. It is not a coaching qualification, licence, badge or accreditation, is not awarded by any football federation, and does not entitle you to coach in any capacity requiring a licence.
• Nothing in the Experience grants you any right to use the Manchester City or Coachbetter names, badges or logos, or to describe yourself as Manchester City accredited or qualified.
• Digital access starts post event, is personal to the attendee, is not transferable, and is subject to the standard terms of each product. It has no cash value and cannot be exchanged, refunded or extended. Access ends after twelve months unless you take out a paid subscription. You will not be charged automatically. You will be contacted within 14 days of the event with details on how to start your subscriptions.

12. Travel, insurance and entry to the UK

• You are responsible for your own travel, transfers, accommodation and insurance.
• You are responsible for holding a valid passport and any visa or entry authorisation you need to travel to and enter the United Kingdom. We can provide a letter confirming your booking on request, but cannot advise on applications and are not responsible for the outcome.
• If you cannot attend because you do not obtain the documents you need, no refund is due.

13. Data protection and liability

• We process your personal data in line with the Coachbetter privacy policy here. To deliver the Experience we will share attendee details with Manchester City for venue access, ticketing, catering, safeguarding and certification. 
• We will contact you after the Experience for feedback and, where you have agreed, about future events and products. You can opt out at any time.
• Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.
• Otherwise, our total liability in connection with your booking is limited to the fee you paid. We are not liable for travel or accommodation costs, lost time, lost earnings, or any indirect or consequential loss.
• We are not responsible for the acts or omissions of any third party you contract with directly, including airlines, rail operators, hotels and transfer providers.

14. Agreement

By registering for the Experience, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these Terms & Conditions and agree to be bound by them.
